My first Friday in HMS Sultan

Culture shock! Friday is like a half day for UK people. Officially, they should knock off at 3pm but when I step into the admin office to fax some documents, the entire office is empty... I thought Singapore was good to have 5 days week, UK is better. When can we have 4 and a half days week in Singapore??? Hmm... ...

But after that much said, we still had our lesson till 3pm... The lesson here are conducted in such fast pace. They covered a text book which required like 3 months to cover in Singapore in half a day. Wow!!! Talking about speed.

Did general Electrics in the afternoon... dint realize that I have given all my knowledge back to my SP lecturers until I try to do the tutorial questions. Was like shit... V=IR... P=VI... Q=CV... ahh... Die liao... This weekend i am going to do as much tutorial as possible. Can’t lose out... as I am here on a mission. But there are some really bright students in my class. Waqas, from Pakistan, quiet but very knowledgeable. MO, fresh grad from Imperial College. Steve, 10 years of experience and knowledge with the RN as a rating. Since I am already here, I will have to bite hard and strive for the best result.
